3) perhaps the addition of "object libraries" of items that can be dragged and dropped into a 2D floor plan (i.e. 2) seems to be a little hassle centering a new drawing on the screen even with scroll bars. 1) on a 27 inch screen, the toolbars seem tiny. I would like to see a couple of changes though. By taking the time to run one of the tutorials, such as drawing the calculator, you will be well on the road to drawing most of the things you want to draw.

I can only assume that those individuals who seem to be having issues with the app are used to more sophisticated software or are too impatient to learn. I was happy to see they have made it easier to use and have included improvements since I last used it. I was initially put off by the negative reviews, but took a chance anyway. The app works beautifully on my new iMac I am happy to say. I have an older copy of Autocad but like many others, the learning curve is too steep for a casual user. I have used this program in Windows 98 and in Win XP with good results. If you are comfortable with traditional CAD software, you will be very at home with DeltaCad and probably find it a powerful and useful program. If you are looking for MacDraw (remember that?) or Inkscape or LibreOffice Draw with ruler scaling and better control over dimensioning (as I was), this ain't it. DeltaCad works along the lines of older, sophisticated Windows-based drafting programs rather than being a straightforward Mac-oriented drawing program. You'll notice, however, that most of the positive reviews come from former users of the Windows version of the program. Nothing derogatory intended about the program or its developers. It is not a BAD program, and I may someday invest the time to become proficient with it.
Yeah, would probably erase the program and get my money back if that was an option.
